O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

A proverbial saying – “By discovering nature, you discover yourself”. Another reads as – “The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration”. Ensconced in the lap of Mother Nature, wanting to just let go, I wrote – “O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!”. Read below:

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

Standing atop the mountain signifying infinite might

Mesmerized am I by dispersion of scintillating sunlight

Aurora of myriad colors breathtakingly delight

All else in mundane life, seems momentarily trite

I clasp my hands tightly and humbly pray

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

Peering into the horizon in the looming distance

I search vainly through vapor for meaning of my existence

Reflections in psyche, purple haze in temporary intransigence

Abashed to no end, I swear with a selfish vengeance

Is this incessantly, agitated life worthy of my flay

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

Swiveling my head above, I gaze at the blue bountiful sky

Gaping at silver clouds floating like starships ready to fly

Bound by this mortal snare, I pine for quietude and freedom

Memoirs of my life, most of them emptily insignificant

Flummoxed and pensive, this enigma I commence to fray

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

Dreaming beyond the universe, I drift into the milky way

Bejeweled by celestial objects, heaven and hell to play

Predicament to discover myself, mounting exponentially

Spirit in my soul sinking gradually and tragically

Amidst this supreme infinite ambience, I see neither night nor day

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

Drawn back to reality, my sight stoops down on the terrain below

Among the humongous populace, I realize a mission to follow

To serve my brethren in my own innocuous way

Help render the environs, happily peaceful in every way

Driven by this motto, I joyfully say

O Divine Mother Nature, Take Me Away!

In My Aloneness

Loneliness is Suffering; you crave incessantly for someone, something. Agitated, looking outward, searching, you want to attain something other than what you already have or are. Aloneness is Bliss. You feel full, complete, infinite. There is nothing outside you or other than you, and hence no desire or agitation. You just rest in your true nature, aware of yourself, without any inside or outside, in a state of Pure Being! Read below – “In My Aloneness”

In My Aloneness

In the silence of my own company, so many years have been spent

No thoughts in mind; neither past nor future have been dwelt

Golden has been every single moment; invaluable in determination

Tasting only the breath, supreme is this life’s experiential realization

In the quietude of the self, nobody outside me has ever been a bother

No cause for envy, jealously, hatred, or even a pinch of putrid anger

Oblivious of the magical, external world, what a blessing in disguise

Devoid of ambition; never any reason to compare, desire, aspire, conspire

In the four walls of my home, there is nothing to worry, fear or dread

It does not matter at all to me, if in next second, breath halts & I fall dead

Long gone are all attachments & aversions, residually remnant is pure existence

Ultimate Truth, True Knowledge, Infinite Bliss are all that I anymore sense

In the harmony of joyful endurance, music has been the melody of being

Penetrating directly into heart, arousing unconditional love as only meaning

In all prayers & meditation, humanity is foremost in humble consideration

May all sentient beings be liberated from suffering, and led gloriously to enlightenment

Staring into the silent, empty, dark sky above, the self wanders the cosmos

Transmitting & receiving vibrations let loose in boundless time & space

Meeting dear souls who have made a gracious difference to our universe

Learning from them, ways to end the journey with immaculate, inert grace

Poetic Collaborations

A talented, never-met-before, youngster messaged me in 2016 to ask if the two of us could do a virtual, collaborative writing. We soon exchanged arbitrary verses, written alternately, without any pre-defined theme or vision. Both of us were in our own galvanized realms of quixotic revelry, nonchalant of any poetic objectivity. The outcome was bound to be an insane riot of meaningless verbosity. Read below – “Poetic Collaborations”

Poetic Collaborations

When two minds individually wandered in the universe
Lost was the exterior, only random ideas & thoughts to disperse
Waves of energy colliding one another, exploding as a sublime burst
Endearing a collaboration of creativity, such is man’s thirst
Not knowing one another, only the souls were connected
Commencing a conversation in silence, imagination depicted
Synchronizing illogical perspectives into a realm of quixotic poetry
Weaving freely across all dimensions of envisioned reality

Is that what tends to flow, a sober mingle?
Strangers beyond the realm of touch
Is that what creeps, a decorous mist?
Fear to get lost with a crowd of bleeding trust
Is that what hides, a soul with blessed curses?
Clasped fingers to hold hands sleeping in night
Is that what testifies, a game of unfamiliar grounds?
Moments were endowed upon with eyes of graceful wizardry
Did it rain, when dreams were lived with this magic?

When thoughts descended on paper, like river meeting the sea
Enacted was a surreal dance, by emotions flowing endlessly
Concatenated into one writing, in psychedelic verse & rhyme
Two humans jiving together, intertwining both step & time
Born from this amalgamation, a reel of verbose hallucination
Endemic to the circumstance, a new world of collaborative creation
Faulty may be such lines to mankind’s logical observation
Does it really matter, when effort was ordained by unification

Far into a world of annealed cross-time
A picture drawn with lust, eyes closed and tied hands
A sole prodigious mind took a journey with the clouds
Twinkling stars were touched, feet burned in moonlight
Possibilities of sore infinity meet with these hearts
Never to talk beside the barrens of these lifeless pages
Never to piece together reality kissed with dubious lips
If ever robes of imagination meet with these hearts
