Banish all despondency misery, penury

Live in comfort, luxury, make merry

Lord of the concrete jungle & seven seas

 

Will you follow me if I showed you money?

Through gratuity, serendipity, perpetuity,

Promise you jewelry, finery, camaraderie

Imprisoned in my clasp, walk no more free

 

Would you love me for all my money?

No more apathy, only sympathy & empathy

Fill me magically, romantically, lovingly

Romeo beneath balcony, freed from animosity

 

Will you pray for me for money?

Unto redemption, absolution, liberation

Lived life angrily, hatefully, sinfully

Save me from hell, make me heavenly

 

Will you let me take all my money?

Assets & goods also with my soul

When I die, leave only mind & body

No use these be anymore, burdens of carry

 

What did you say, can’t take any money?

Meaning it was a phantasm of a fantasy?

Money was only thing used; everything to buy

Anything ever needed in life to enjoy & get by

 

Existence is so materialistic, myopic & illusory

Short lives endured suffering for only money

Clinging to that mirage even in last momentary

Eternity beckons with nothingness, totally empty

What A Frightful Night

Sitting all through this dark, lonely night

Fingers trembling, not a word am able to write

Eyes full of tears, lost is my sense of sight

Mind blanked out, no thoughts are right

 

Missing her presence, lost in this morass

Everywhere I look, her image is all that lasts

Walked through the forest, hushed are the woods

Leaves no more rustle, if only she would

 

Chest hurts, heart aches, breath hesitates

Struggling to find reason; what is my mistake?

Did I do her any wrong or say something bad

Without her call or message, am left so terribly sad

 

Will tomorrow be a new sunrise?

Will she come back & surprise?

Without her, my heart won’t beat anymore

For, it was she who woke it from deep slumber

 

With a skeletal hope, I remain

Until she’s back, there only is pain

Wait I do to hug her tight

Affectionate and caring, loving with poise

White as a dove, pure as a flame,

Tender as a petal, silky as a feather,

Unable to see a soul in heavy weather!

 

Cradle her like a child, treat her with care,

She will one-day surely make you aware.

That, when times are bad, and tempers are short,

Traveling, I’ve been traveling since it all began
Transformed myself into this wondrous, earthly creation
It was only me at first, then came nature, animal & man
All of which is the externality of human illusion
 
Traveling, I’ve been traveling through space
Walking on land, green pastures, all my grace
Into  the mountains, one can wander aimlessly
Treading over paths, carved out immaculately
 
Traveling, I’ve been traveling through time
Vibrating energy of the cosmos, sublime
Enabling concepts of past, present & future
When there actually is nothing but existence to endure
 
Traveling, I’ve been traveling across the cosmos
Only on this earth, is the filth so ghastly & gross
It sure will take lots of energy & effort to clean up
Else, this creation of mine is bound to disrupt
 
Traveling, I’ve seen all that I consciously wanted
Wonder if I made a dreadful mistake so drastic
Pull back all energy & matter into my being
Get everyone back home for all new learning

In that offering of humble giving

Lies contained a soul’s pure loving

 

Those who are innately kind

Let go of sorrows in their mind

Reaching out to the needy & helpless

Is nothing other than filling emptiness

 

To be kind is just like natural love

Blessed into our body from above

Conditionality never a constraint

Freeing the mind from all restraint

 

Kindness is a joy beyond measure

Receiving back much more pleasure

Just to see the smile on a receiver
