A Meaningful Rainbow
Tip-toeing stealthily through puddles of falling rain
Listening silently to the sky crying in maudlin vain
Looked up at the sun & glanced into the horizon above
To witness the glory of a shimmering, radiant rainbow
VIBGYOR, its name, what was the intended meaning
Translating into my life, supposedly an intrinsic beaming
Innerscribed by the amethyst, lavender, pristine violet
Telling me real existence is not just another madman’s bet
Within that curvy spectrum was the quaint, eclectic indigo
Fruit of seeds into mind’s soil we sow to ultimately grow
Promoting concentration, introspection, contemplation
Quietude of meditation, pathway to enlightenment
Trust, honesty, loyalty denoted by the powerful, big blue
Embracing together water & sky in its brilliant, crystal hue
Balance & harmony resplendent in the eternal, natural green
Equilibrium of head & heart in every bit of enchanting sheen
Creativity & happiness character of beauty in bountiful yellow
Sunshine & happiness represented in beatifically smiling tow
Warmth & affection emanating from ecstatic, surreal orange
Emotional strength in times posing a dubious, tough challenge
Energy & passion truly postured by bright, luminescent red
Warm & positive, beautiful roses in your comfortable bed
Too much of it could see anger, agitation or irritation
Very little makes us fearful, manipulative & full of caution
Putting VIBGYOR together as sole understanding to follow
Connotation of infinite love that is within to outwardly flow
To everyone in distance & sight, a pure offering from the heart
And to never let beloved humanity ever be profanely torn apart
