Wandering Alone
Wandering alone in the mountains; wanting to just be & not do
Strayed off the beaten track, trekking deep into the sylvan woods
Away from all humanity; only the beatific environment to be with
Sat on the greenlands, wanting to decode the undecipherable myth
Staring blankly into the expansive sky, through beauteous green foliage
Bereft of thoughts & emotions; only awareness in the existential being
Leaves ruffling in gentle breeze, eclectic aroma everywhere in the air
Water flowing down in tiny streams, into the pristine river down there
Contemplating on existence, amidst the surrounding pure nature
Everything seemed so perfect, the delicate balance so unimaginable
Mesmerizing is this creation, in all dimensions of perceived reality
Everything so interconnected, not a single disparate, stand-alone entity
Man, forest, air, sky, water, mountain, all co-existing harmoniously together
Each depending on the other; this interwined ecosystem meant to last forever
Aloneness, the only state wherein this actuality may be comprehended in totality
Lost otherwise in the world, one gets drowned in plethora of empty priorities
Wandering alone is blissful, leading to uncovering the one truth
Life & existence are no great mysteries, in oneness we exist
