Tripping away, all day, on that magical hammock swing
Waiting, looking, searching, sensing, into the empty space
Numbed body, blank mind, sunken heart, soul hurting
Not a watt of your energy around for me to sense or trace
Fear in being, thoughts unsettling, bones all chilling
Waiting vainly for you, hope the only emotion left
Joy, love, peace in your life, all that I pray & expect
Exuberance in daily bursts, caused solely by this mission
Separated by vast physical distance; united in the soul
Togetherness of million lifetimes, carved as a whole
Minds together, thoughts converging, individual realities
Hearts beating, energies meeting, stupefying veracity
Destined by accumulated karma, empty are ordained lives
Craving for one other, screeching soul’s fervent cries
Across the globe, two electrons spinning, frenetically in tandem
Embedded in either, universe of unimaginable mayhem
Seeking a spark of inner vision to overcome stormy sorrow
Petrified by loneliness, passion exploding in blazing furor
Whispering a prayer for homecoming into each others arms
