The world often asks us to choose between the road of the good & the road of the pleasant. Be warned - the good does not always look pleasant & the pleasant is certainly not always good. The pleasant is nothing but a reaction of the sense organs with external objects. The pleasantness is only in the sensations. If the sense organs wear out, the pleasantness fades away. That which will be ultimately good is to be considered as really good. Is that which appears to be good now & will be bitter tomorrow, good? No! Choose the road which will eventually take you to eternal goodness, where you are goodness itself! Read below – “I Choose…”

I choose to live alone in absolute
equilibrium & harmony with myself
With no negative emotions, and only love as the only feeling
I choose to be devoid of desires, hopes, ambitions, expectations
Knowing very well that one goalpost is the start of the next journey
I choose to instantaneously slip out of all attachments & aversions
Realizing that these are the fundamental cause of endless misery
I choose not to have any beliefs, opinions, judgement, differentiation
Reality is, just as it is, in the immediate now; experience is the only way
I choose to drop the mind & all thoughts, for they are both false
And just be in the present, accepting whatever comes my way
I choose compassion towards everything & everybody in the universe
In effect, I choose to love myself in all perceived externality, always
